#Guitarra ibanez ex series series#
The EX models were replaced by the Ibanez RX series in 1994. They were equipped with Powersound pickups in various configurations, and most had an Ibanez TRS-101 tremolo, licensed by Floyd Rose.
To most, these are a love/hate pick up configuration. V7-8 Series commonly found on Mid upper range to high end guitars. Very rare, and a favorite of Ibanez fans. V1-2 Series Found on older higher end guitars. All Ibanez RG guitars come with 2-year warranty, fast, convenient delivery options and easy returns. Powersound series-Used to be the budget pickups in older budget Ibanez guitars. They presumably were named differently to minimize the potential damage to the reputation of the RG name due to possible quality issues in moving production from Japan, although some markets already did have some Korean made RG models. Shop for Ibanez RG series guitars online at Gear4music. The guitars featured the RG shape, but with rounded edges, as opposed to the squared edges of the RG line. The EX (short for EXperimental) models were essentially RG-bodied guitars produced in Korea instead of Japan as a more affordable alternative. The EX series is a line of solid body electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. Because Ibanez nas se many new instruments this year weve attempted to simplify this.
